I Am Different
I am different from most. Why? Because I don’t want “things”. I want to earn “things”. I want to work hard and be responsible for me and live my own life. I want to be a self-sufficient human being free from the governments corrupt wealth-stealing ponzi-schemes. There is one growing problem problem: the government will not let me.
As I try to go to school, the government is pouring money into the system driving costs sky high; forcing someone like me who has little to no savings to take out a loan in which will chain me down for years to come. As I try to get a job the government is increasing minimum wage making jobs more expensive and less numerous. As I try to speak my mind about the atrocities the government is performing I am being labeled an “extremest” and “un-American”.
I am not “un-American”. If anything I am “un-Statist” unlike Mrs. Pelosi and her corrupt “un-American” statist friends on the Left and the Right. I read the founding fathers. I read of Liberty. I learned of free-markets. I learned the truth along time ago. The Truth is this:
The “Federal” Reserve and the leadership of both the Left and Right are statist shills; promoting fake Keynesian economics to increase their power; Free-market economics works; freedom works. The absence of the heavy hand of government is better for all mankind; and all of these wars are promoted by the leadership of both parties.
The founders were more Libertarian then anything. What these politicians are doing to this country is something we all should worry about. I am worried for the future of this country. I am worried that soon the private sector of this country will be under so much pressure it will collapse. I am worried that too many people are fixated about the power of the Left and the Right and not about Liberty.
I do not know the exact answer to our problems. I do know that it involves more freedom and advice from our founding fathers. Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Those are true American values I guess it is these views that make me different, and American.
Health Care Myths
The CATO Institute put out a great podcast of the overall problems of government run Health Care featuring Sally Pipes, a former resident of Canada and first-hand witness of Canada’s government run Health Care system
Town Hall Meetings Gone Wild!
Of course the title is a bit exaggerated, but hey the constituents are actually being logical, it must be wild! In Setauket, NY and in Philadelphia, PA folks were up in arms about new Health Care proposals from the left.
End The Fed
In 1913 Congress passed the ‘Federal Reserve Act’, creating a quasi public-private institution were bankers, free of government scrutiny, regulate the money supply. The purpose of this institution is to smoothen out the boom and bust cycle of the economy. In the face of political pressure, the Federal Reserve promotes and creates the boom while trying to fight off the inevitable bust. This process is easy to do politically but ultimately destroys the economy by not letting the bad debt liquidate. At the end of the day, who wants to go through a recession? Read more…
Cash For Clunkers? Or A Waste Of Cash?
All over T.V. and its annoying “Cash For Clunkers” commercials the government-funded “Cash For Clunkers” program seems to be in full swing. Most on the left seem to be parading its success while asking for further funding. So what is wrong with this program? After all it’s getting less fuel-efficient cars off the road, while helping the dealerships, right?
All Done
Well it seems I am done setting up things for now. If you look to the right you will see various links to consider. Over time I will begin building on this site and my hope is to get a “real” site working soon. I am hoping to get some commentary rolling off by the nights end, then tomorrow will begin the first full day of The Libertarian Guy.
I have started The Libertarian Guy out of frustration really I have been growing tired of seeing political commentary that excluded the free-market choice, or the anti-war choice, so I decided to do it here. As it turns out, anti-war, and free-market is pretty “common-sense”. I encourage you all to spread the word about this blog and The Libertarian Guy. I will be providing liberty-minded commentary on the news and other things. If you ever wondered what a Libertarian may be thinking about any given current event, this is your place. The bias for the State stops here. The Libertarian Guy will set things straight.
